Fasteners

Brick Tie
Used to secure bricks to frame work.
Clips onto stud flange with a light tap with a trowel.
Available in galvanised and stainless steel.

Plumbing Grommets
Snaps into 32mm service holes for running plumbing pipework through the framework to separate the metals and support pipes to prevent hammering.

Electrical Grommet
Snaps into 32mm punched service holes to insulate electrical wires from steel framing and to provide a rounded edge for easier wiring installation.

Insul-Fix™
Used to fix insulation to steel frames. Will not tear or damage foil during installation.

Adjustable Piers
These piers allow for height adjustment in floor systems. They will allow you to get your floor level and keep it level if any ground movement occurs.

Cavity Sliders
Metal cavity sliding door frames with a timber exposed edge to suit 75 and 90mm metal studwork. Common sizes are kept in stock and most other sizes available on order.

Wall Stabiliser Bracket
This bracket is used to horizontally stiffen the top of non loadbearing internal walls by connecting them to the roof system (mostly trusses), but still allow for verticle deflection (slab/floor movement and truss/roof structure flexing under load). |

Colorspan/Boxspan Brackets
These brackets are custom made to suit individual jobs. They come in a range of sizes, shapes, angles, and pitches.
Commonly used in the connection of exposed Boxspan members in Verandahs , Pergolas and car ports. Galvanised material suitable for powder coating.

Ridge/Hip Tie
The Ridge/Hip Tie is a special Custom Steel Frames structural member.
It provides two 40mm ridge battens, a lip for roof battens to be fastened to and a folded safety edge.

Valley Tie
This member is a Valley Support Tray to support a Lysaghts or equivalent Valley Tray (colourbond or zinc). It provides two 40mm Valley battens, a lip for roof battens to be fastened to, a folded safety edge and grooves to prevent sweating between the 2 members.

Ceiling Battens
22mm top hat batten 0.42 thick with serrated top and safety edge.Primarily used as a ceiling sheet connection under trusses. Other uses include wall cladding battens, eave battens, bottom chord tie and electrical cable tray through trusses.

Roof Battens
40mm top hat batten 0.55 for general use on roofs , walls , fences , floors.
Features include mitre cut ends ,serrated non skid top and a safety edge.

H Brackets
H bracket is a pre fabricated purpose built CSF bracket to connect a 100,150mm,200 or 250mm high member typically a C purlin to the top of a studwork wall. Typically used in overhang situations on eves and gables where tie down is important . Can be bolted for extra security and has 6 screws in shear to both members.
